Our non-profit organization is named “Survivors Of Unexpected Loss” or SOUL and was incorporated in 2005. Scholarships are given annually to Scituate High School Seniors who will be attending college.
Since organized SOUL has gained many volunteers and sponsors that participate in fundraisers. These events raise money for scholarships awarded in memory of young adults, teenagers and infants from our community. SOUL has also helped out certain families with costly funeral expenses. We are pleased to see volunteers and members who have experienced tragic loss join SOUL to help achieve our mission. These members receive support from friends, turn grief in to a positive action, benefit others and memorialize their loved ones.
Proceeds from fundraisers and donations may be sent to SOUL Corporation, c/o Scituate Federal Savings Bank, 72 Front St, Scituate, MA 02066.

Exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3), contributions to SOUL are deductible under section 170 of the code, SOUL is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2105 or 2522 of the code."
